So, Leia Sfez has this photo on IG of herself in a gorgeous black skirt with tassels. This skirt is not the exact one, but it evokes enough of a similarity that it fit exactly the look I was going for. I bought the XL according to the size guide. Right now my waist is probably 34" and hips 43", and depending on the company, I wear US size 10 jeans and US size 12 slacks (because you want slacks to fit a bit loose). The XL fits good, a bit loose, but it's stretchy so I think if I lose weight it will still fit just fine. I'm trying to get away from wearing super tight clothes and the XL is great for that. So I would say if you prefer a tighter fit, go a size down from the guide, but it's going to be stretchy so it will still fit if you go with the guide. On me, the tassels hit ~4" above the ankle, so a bit lower than on the model. The material is nice and it's a bit thick to hide curves, perfection.
